Morphine Bandit is a project headed by a mysterious man/machine connexion. His purpose is to reach an altered state of consciousness and/or ecstatic feelings by means of electronic dronescapes. “The subtle shift” is a direct reference to the way Morphine Bandit produces music. It starts with repetitive, hypnotic drone pads with sound elements and noisy touches that evolve subtly and immerse the listener in an altered state (depending on their state of mind just before the listening experience).
