Elements of the World

batenim netlabel proudly presents the third digital release by Olivér Dombi, second release as Csillagköd. We believe that this talented artist has perfectly captured the taste and the atmosphere that batenim prefers. The digital EP “Elements of the World” is a sublime and wonderful new trip towards inner peace and the spiritual human being in contact with the elements of earth, life, light and spiritual meditation.

Csillagköd is Olivér Dombi, born in Transylvania on Christmas evening in 1981, a multicolored personality, working under many other artist names, and also owner of a few labels. Olivér started to write music in the Autumn of 2001, Csillagköd has existed since 2011. He finished school in 2000 as a painter, but was not deeply interested in it, nor in further education: he was more into composing music on the computer and writing scientific studies (unpublished, amateur stuff). For the first five years after 2001 he wrote his music without publishing it, then in 2006 he started to put out releases and throughout the years the Csillagköd idea was also born. The music leans towards space, drone and ambient, and sometimes has a lounge feel. Olivér has been a space and astronomy lover since he came into this world. He is much more interested philosophically and musically than in really getting into astronomy, but he is also into that. The English meaning of the Hungarian word Csillagköd is: Nebula (Astronomy).
