Strolling on Lunar noises

Al Tarf is a musical project by Emilio Totta from southern Italy, which uses only a Eurorack modular system. Additive and subtractive synthesis of waves managed and maneuvered by a complex and wise cable articulation. The result is deep sound pads and atmospheres of startling beauty. Sci-fi drone ambient music that captures the imagination as a perfect soundtrack for a walk on the lunar soil. The “Strolling on Lunar Noises” EP consists of 4 lovely soundtracks in 4 lunar regions. The album was recorded in real time without the use of pedal effects or keyboards connected to the modular Synth and without any post-production work.

Al Tarf è un progetto musicale di Emilio Totta dal sud Italia che si avvale esclusivamente di un sistema modulare Eurorack. Sintesi additiva e sottrattiva di onde gestite e manovrate da una complessa e sapiente articolazione di cavi. Il risultato sono tappeti sonori ed atmosfere di una bellezza spiazzante. Atmosfere Sci-fi ambient drone che catturano l’immaginario e come recita il titolo di questo primo album sono una perfetta colonna sonora di una passeggiata nel suolo lunare. “Strolling on Lunar noises” è costituito da 4 incantevoli passaggi sonori in 4 regioni lunari. L’album è stato registrato in tempo reale senza uso di effetti aggiunti o di tastiere collegate al Synth modulare e senza alcun lavoro di post produzione.
